Hey kids:
Thomas the cat here. Just woke up from my nap.
Here's my quiz for you. Get all three questions right and you are a local organic expert! (Answers at the bottom of the page.)
And...
Next time you are out shopping with your parents, ask them about buying some locally-grown organic foods. Really, Just do it.
Organic is better for you. Your growing body really doesn't need a bunch of nasty pesticides roaming around in it. Not to mention organic is better for creeks and rivers and farmworkers and bees and cats who chase bees and catnip and.... OK, sorry.
So, yeah, organic is great and, almost forgot, local is nice, too. Local helps farmers stay in business -- near where we live. Now I never leave my yard, but (because I am a nice guy) I want you to have beautiful green places around your town. Farms, a bird once told me, cause I've never been to one, are beautiful green places. And on and on and such and such....
OK, phew, that was a lot of work! Time to go back to sleep!
Meow, purr, zzzzzzzzzzz.
Signed,
Thomas, a local organic (and very smart but humble) cat
